Peter Jackson’s production diary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” .

This is the first in his planned trilogy that will be followed by “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” and “The Hobbit: There and Back Again”.
